Eagerly awaited every year by Brisbane’s finest big bands, this year the 12th Annual Brisbane Big Band Festival will be re-energised with some new style and pzazz!

The festival will run over 3 days from 1st to 3rd November, with 4 bands playing each night, it is a rare chance for up to 80 musicians from different bands to get together in a performance setting, with each band playing a 45-minute set. The festival also provides an opportunity for patrons to meet and socialise with some of Brisbane’s leading jazz musicians. Food and drinks may be purchased from the bar and kitchen and patrons are allowed to consume these in the auditorium.

The event will be held at BEMAC (Brisbane Multicultural Arts Centre), Queensland Multicultural Centre, 102 Main Street, Kangaroo Point and tickets are available through the Brisbane Jazz Club website.
